About Us

The Tide, also known as the ISS Journalism Club, was established in 2019 to promote good journalism and to be a platform for our voices as students. We started as a very small group of people and have grown to approximately twenty people at some point. The Tide has been and will always be a publication for you, by students, for students. From our hearts to yours.

From the very first day, The Tide has been releasing one magazine per school semester. Each magazine publication was the very hard work of everyone involved, from writers, journalists, artists, to editors, and teacher supervisors. Starting from mid 2022, The Tide increased the publishing frequency: the new The Tide newsletters now arrive once every two weeks instead of semesterly. Naturally the work has increased, but so long as you are still reading, you can always count on us to deliver, because this is what we do.

So thank you for stopping by. Feel free to roam around, leave a message, pop over to our social media to have a look, and of course, don’t forget to check out all of our publications and look out for more to come.
